Audio Servicing & Repairs

We repair most makes of quality Hi Fi amplifiers and guitar amplification, we carry out out all repairs in our Scruton workshop, a repair estimate will be given for all repairs over £65, (the estimate will be sent by email wherever possible).

For audio products we have an audio test bench equipped with a power amp to test peripherals, and test equipment to enable us to diagnose amplifier faults. We have guitars & basses to test guitar amplifiers when repaired. Guitar amps have changed little over the years in fact apart from digital processor effects build into some, many haven't changed at all!

Valve technology is widely used in the better quality amps, support and parts are available for most products.

We also repair effects boxes and leads etc.

WORKSHOP RATES

Workshop time is charged at £ 40 per hour (min 1 hour charge) with any subsequent time charged at 30 minutes intervals.
